Thank you Bill. I was about to make a similar post. How can anyone with even a bit of common sense think the Black Americans are in any way “oppressed” ? I mean we had a Black POTUS who was elected not once…but TWICE, and by a large number of White Americans!!!!! WAKE UP AMERICA ! btw…those who have made it big rarely help their “people” beyond a large group of yes men called their “entourage “.

Converting a freighter to a passenger plane is crazy expensive but an option I like a lot.

I would love to have one of those “half converted”: the front half to passenger and keep the aft for cargo, so I can take a couple of my cars or my (and a few friend’s) motorcycles along with me 😊
    But I would be happy with a pimped up C-130 👌🏼 I’m not a snob 😉

In truth these aircraft are leased. The Rock isn’t going to spend 65 million of his 220 million just for outright ownership. Not to mention maintaining fueling and employing a flight crew.

I liked Harrison Ford’s jet… a ”modest” plane to take him wherever he wants to go without unnecessary bling. Way to go Han 😉
(Not to mention the classic planes collection… love it)

I know a multimillionaire and the dude flies economy plus. It is crazy. He can afford to buy a Gulfstream but he said he does it so wealth doesn’t go to his head. He even drives a Chevy Malibu! XD

I am not against celebrities having private jets, hell I would love one. Just don’t fly all over the world and preach to me about conspicuous consumption or saving the environment because that not only is annoying but rings very very hollow.

@Tim Chisholm this generalization is easy to prove. We are tired of CA moving into Texas, driving up our property values and bringing the values that drove them here in the first place. I’ve got pages of more reasons, but that will have to do for now. Any more questions?

@Mo Shahani The outrageousness of these people is simply revolting! I can understand them using private jets to stay away from mobs of fans but the opulence of these people is disgusting considering how many people especially children in their isn countries are living in squalor & extreme poverty! I’m not saying they can take in all poverty alone but how much do they actually do for the poverty stricken? The. There is the Bull Crap they spew about climate change & all their other virtue signalling all the while they flaunt their wealth making them super HYPOCRITICAL & amazing smug & heartless!

We who pay attention to things know the truth of the world thought. I am so tired of the lies of celebrities, but mostly the lies of corporations! That’s the second biggest problem I know of.

I wonder if they have ever seen homeless people or children whose stomachs are aching because they don’t have anything substantial to eat. There is a “cast” system in our country too – not just in parts of Asia.

Drake is super lucky. I never heard anything like that. I always wondered that does anybody got giant plane as a private jet. Is it possible that a company gifting a plane to their brand ambassador. And there is one person. #Drake.

  7. Lindsay Wilson

I’ve had the pleasure of walking through and photographing John Travolta’s 707 at a dinner put on by Qantas at their BNE hangar in 2004. He winked at my wife as we had photos taken, really cheeky 😀

Owning a private jet is in the same way outdated as owning a huge yacht. Maintaining a private jet or a yacht like Azzam costs millions every year. How often do celebrities use a private jet? So this doesn’t make sense. Today every airport has a private jet charter. These jets are perfectly maintained and new.

With a few exceptions (and egos)They don’t really “own” those aircrafts. They pay a share for them or lease them. Does not make it cheap anyways; but in that context it is better than spending millions of dollars maintaining them, and paying a crew.
